ROTO-CAB® washers are designed for the spray cleaning with water-base cleaning liquids at medium temperature. The operating principle is based on a rotating platform where the parts are posed and a series of sprays covering all surfaces during rotation.

The platform rotates on bearings with axial and radial resistance, contained in a steel hub with permanent lubrication and completely sealed for maintenance free operation. The system is driven by a gearmotor posed on the upper side of the machine with joints and shafts. A drive wheel acting on the external perimeter ensures smooth rotation and acts as a torque limiter.

Completely closed with front loading, the ROTO-CAB® washers can be equipped with a folding door balanced by gas springs and safety supports, or with an air operated vertical door (VDT models). The VDT is based on two pneumatic cylinders and an inherently safe pneumatic system which stops automatically the door in case of a fault or unexpected lack of energy, air or electricity. The door has an interlock and cutout of the pump when open.

The wash cycle is automatic, timer controlled, with vapour extraction at the end of the cycle when the centrifugal fan starts automatically and fresh air in introduced into the spay chamber to prevent escape of vapours when opening the door. Models VDT open automatically the door after vapours are removed from the chamber.

The workload platform moves on wheels with bearings to be easily extracted from the wash chamber for load and unload operation. The folding door acts as a load platform when open while VDT models are equipped with a separate platform, floor mounted.

ROTO-CAB® washers are equipped with electric heating controlled by thermostat with analogue instrument on the control panel showing the set point and the actual temperature; electric heaters are designed with a heat flux of only 7 w/cm² for long operating life with reduced maintenance. The wash chamber is insulated to reduce heath loss.

The spray system is composed by the centrifugal pump and three spray headers with flat pattern calibrated nozzles. The system is designed and constructed with large diameter tubes to keep the velocity within 3 m/sec to maximize performances and to reduce power losses.

ROTO-CAB® washers have manual filling, an overweir outlet, 2 inches drain out, low level  cutout of the pump and the heating system, a basket filter to protect the pump and the spray system.

The electric equipments are contained in a box, of exclusive design, with IP55 protection posed on the right-hand side of the spray chamber. The control panel has the timer with auto rest, temperature gauge, switches and function lamps and the remote control to rotate the platform with the door open. VDT models have also a two-hands control to close the dor.

The ROTO-CAB® washers are produced in three models with platforms of mm. 800, 1000 or 1200, and can be also equipped with a wide range of accessories such as the oil separator OILNET®, bag or cartridge type filtration systems, automatic filling and more.
